Offside (2006)

In the quaint town of Stensfors, the local soccer team once basked in glory, competing in the national league three decades ago. Now, facing dissolution, they must win all their remaining local matches to survive. During a business trip to Liverpool, team member Kent encounters Duncan Miller, a football legend from the 1980s, who offers to come to Sweden and play a few matches for fun. However, when Duncan arrives, it quickly becomes clear that their hoped-for hero struggles with alcoholism and is far from fit to play.
