Their relationship is a mix of playful arguments and heartfelt moments... until a global zombie virus infects Soo-ah. Unwilling to abandon her, Jung-hwan takes her to the tranquil seaside village of Eunbong-ri, where his mother, Bam-soon, resides. Amidst a society determined to hunt down the infected, Soo-ah exhibits unusual signs of awareness—reacting to music, her grandmother's rhythmic taps with a back scratcher, and even hinting at language.
