The Heavenly Plan (2019)

In a remote jungle, two altar boys have grown up in a small church under the guidance of Father Roberto, their aging mentor. With the priest nearing the end of his life, it's now their responsibility to safeguard and care for him. Eustaquio takes on a façade of authority over the church, while Heriberto is consumed by his infatuation with Maria, a stunning young woman who hardly acknowledges him. As they confront their first existential crisis, the two boys devise a daring plan, one that they believe is divinely inspired.
