Arthur Erickson: Beauty Between The Lines

This documentary delves into the life and impact of Arthur Erickson, Canada's most celebrated architect, highlighting his experiences as a gay man in a time when being open about one's sexuality could threaten a career. Famous for transforming Vancouver’s skyline with iconic structures like Simon Fraser University, UBC’s Museum of Anthropology, and Robson Square, Erickson's work combined modernist and brutalist elements with classical influences. Although he kept his personal and professional lives distinct, his partner, Francisco Kripacz, played a significant role in designing interiors for many of his buildings.
