Cruel War (2024)

Yan Xin, a scientist at Hainan Xingye Torch Company, has utilized gene editing to develop super rubber seeds and traveled to the overseas Yinfan Island for a trial planting, aiming to create a prosperous new world. Lin Xiang from the International Security Company is on the ground, leading a team to protect his estranged yet cherished ex-wife, Yan Xin. Upon their arrival, they are met with escalating conflicts and sinister plots, with local drug lord Li Wenyao lurking in the shadows. As hidden threats emerge, the two must confront their fates in a climactic battle between good and evil.
